Dom Browne

Dom BrowneDom is an inline and ice hockey coach from South Wales who has a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science. His background is in sports science and he also holds diplomas in body massage and sports injuries. He has played inline hockey since the age of 12 and ice hockey since 16, being fortunate enough to travel to Canada, USA and Czech Republic to work and coach, where he has returned with silver and bronze medals. Dom has represented Great Britain at two senior World Championships.

Dom is currently based in Hong Kong where his is Senior Programme Officer for Inline Hockey. He also coaches the Hong Kong national teams and plays in the national division and has set up an inline hockey dryland training session. Dom’s credentials also include writing programmes for professional athletes and he was also consulted to write a programme for the Team GB IIHF Inline Hockey team.

Dom is also heavily involved with coaching within the successful Great Britain inline hockey program, with teams who strongly compete at International events year after year, with ages ranging from U10 right through to senior men. Dom also currently works with a professional welterweight boxer as a strength and conditioning coach, nutritionist and masseur so understands the importance of correct training, proper nutrition and adequate recovery techniques.

Dom specialises in jump rope and ice hockey related training and incorporates these into his very successful training camps and clinics all over the UK with Young Guns Hockey and his work with pro boxer Gareth Piper.  Dom has also just completed 2 Sports Conditioning qualifications.  One in Speed, Quickness and Agility and the other in Sport Strengh - Chest and Back
