Cardio is short for cardiovascular, which refers to the heart. Cardiovascular exercise is exercise that raises your heart rate and keeps it elevated for a period of time. There can be two types of this Aerobic (Steady run or constant increase of heart rate etc) & anaerobic (1 minute walking / 1 minute running or maybe circuit work etc). Another name for it is cardio work is aerobic exercise.

The kinds of exercise that are associated with cardiovascular workouts are things like jogging, fast walking, x-training, bike, swimming etc, but with the experience and quality of our 24 sports trainers you’ll achieve cardio benefits using weights, TRX, kettle bells etc.  Understanding the cardio element of exercise will make it easy to achieve your goals in health & fitness so tune in and ride the cardio wave.
