James Lorey - Powerplate Press Up

Press up on the powerplate in a static position (arms at 90 degrees) will recruit your chest, shoulder and triceps muscles in a pre-tension phase. Pre-tension occurs at the weakest phase of an exercise, if you take a bench press as an example, your muscles will fail at this point in the pressing action...vibration training will stimulate 98% of your muscle fibres at this 'weak phase' allowing you to produce a greater power output in your workout!! Try this before a big pressing session.
