Womens Fitness

Women exercisingSetting goals is the first key to succeeding in any type of health and fitness programme.  Now is the perfect time to get motivated and set new health and fitness tagets. Using the SMART technique is a great way of helping you succeed in that goal.

S – SPECIFIC:  Decide on exactly what you want to accomplish and write it down in as much detail as possible.  This will be a constant reminder, it’s a contract with yourself and forms an excellent motivational tool.

M – Measurable:  You will need to track your progress, so keep a log of everything.

A – Adjustable: Always have a back-up plan, so you are able to adapt to every eventuality, if you can’t make the gym, what can you do at home?

R – Realistic:  Set goals that are realistic for you, don’t compare yourself to your friends or colleagues, you may have different time constraints that only allow you to exercise from home.

T – Time-Based:  Set a deadline of when you want to achieve your goal.  But remember it’s a healthier lifestyle that you are working towards; lasting changes are best achieved when you take your time.

The following exercises have been specifically put together under Women’s Fitness, as they are proven to have the best results for most women who may want to tone rather than build muscle, these exercises are excellent for achieving those results. They can be performed in the comfort of your own home or at a gym.
